This talk will present a high-level introduction to the X10 language with the goal of ensuring a common base knowledge of X10 by all workshop attendees. The X10 language will be introduced primarily via code examples with a focus on X10’s support for concurrency and distribution via the APGAS (Asynchronous Partitioned Global Address Space) programming model.
