Tulika Mitra is a Professor of Computer Science at School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). She received her PhD in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2000. Her research interests span various aspects of the design automation of embedded real-time systems with particular emphasis on application-specific processors, software timing analysis/optimizations, heterogeneous multi-cores, and energy-aware computing. She has authored over hundred scientific publications in premier international journals and conferences in this domain. Her research has been recognized by best paper award at FPT 2012 and best paper nominations at VLSI 2013, DAC 2012, DAC 2009, CODES+ISSS 2008, FPL 2007, ECRTS 2007, CASES 2007. Her research has been supported by Ministry of Education Singapore, A*STAR Science & Engineering Research Council, Cambridge Silicon Radio, and Huawei.
Dr. Mitra currently serves as an Associate Editor of the ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems, IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, EURASIP Journal on Embedded Systems, IET Computers & Digital Techniques, and was an Associate Editor of IEEE Embedded Systems Letters (2009-10). She is (was) the program chair of the ACM International Conference on Embedded Software (EMSOFT) 2014, program vice-chair of the Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASPDAC) 2014, general chair of the IEEE International Conference of Field Programmable Technology (FPT) 2011, program chair and general chair of the IEEE Symposium on Application-Specific Processors (SASP) 2009-10, track/topic chair for several editions of the Design Automation Conference (DAC) and the Design Automation & Test in Europe (DATE) conference 2012-14. She has served in the program committees of almost all major conferences in the embedded systems and design automation domain.
